It's fathers' day today.
I haven't called Dad to wish him a happy birthday yet!
How?
Actually the call can't get through.
I don't know why.
I have bought a pen
which is really embarrassing to talk about
Ambrose and I will be seeing him next month.
So, I shall dedicate some pictures and interesting quotes I found on the net. :)
Dad, you're someone to look up to no matter how tall I've grown. ~Author Unknown
I don't care how poor a man is; if he has family, he's rich. ~M*A*S*H, Colonel Potter
Dad, your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever. ~Author Unknown
There's one sad truth in life I've found
While journeying east and west -
The only folks we really wound
Are those we love the best.
We flatter those we scarcely know,
We please the fleeting guest,
And deal full many a thoughtless blow
To those who love us best.
~Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Oh, the comfort, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words, but pouring them all out, just as they are, chaff (separated from the grains during threshing) and grain together, certain that a faithful hand will take and sift (separate and retain the coarse parts of something) them, keep what is worth keeping, and with a breath of kindness blow the rest away. ~Dinah Craik
